Extruded 2000 Generally speaking there are two main types of base on the snowboard market today, Sintered and Extruded. An Extruded base has a cheaper production method and so the price of the board is generally cheaper. The extruded 2000 base is low maintenance and easy to repair! A Diecut base typically has sections of the base cut out and replaced with a different colour.
