That’s right we’re pissed. Snowboarding is infected with a rare illness. It’s called Corporate Sellout Fiscal Make Me Famous Diarrhea Pox. Take a look around and see who owns snowboard companies these days. No longer do snowboarders dictate what snowboarding should be. Company owners only care about the bottom line. Riders talk more about “contract negotiations” and “sponsorships” than they do about actually riding. Soft drink companies, big box stores and car companies are treating us like long lost relatives of the lottery winner. Snowboard hockey parents and coaches are popping up all over the globe, Rolling Stone covers, Olympics, David Letterman, contests are being held in the middle of busy city squares. What happened? What happened is that it took almost 30 years for the rest of the world to realize how “cool” snowboarding is. With all of the struggles we face as a small company we are still proud to be one of the last true independent brands in this industry today. We take pride in our company, our team and the quality of boards we produce. To us snowboarding is more about having fun and just being able to shred with our bros. We aren’t going to sucker kids in by appearing to be something that we are not just to sell more product, if you can find a better board - buy it!
