The new Carbon GTR is the latest release carbon board from Evolve and it is essentially a replacement for the older Carbon GT model. It has been completely redesigned from the ground up and although it looks similar it's actually a brand new beast.
The deck is handmade and comes from a new mold which is stronger than the deck found on the Evolve Carbon GT.
It features the same style Super Carve trucks but they are now forged so much stronger.
Evolve 7" pneumatic all terrain wheels which are awesome on rough terrain including grass, dirt tracks and can go up drop-kerbs without too much bother
The bearings are super fast and super smooth precision ceramic bearings.
The board features silicon seals and protective internal cases to help towards water resistance. There are new durable water-resistant power cables and the controller, battery PCB, BMS and motors have all been treated with a water-resistant surface spray so the board is now a bit more all-weather than it's predecessor.
There are Dual USB Ports which you can use to to power external accessories (Like the brand new LED Prism Strips).
One of the biggest upgrades is the new Powerflex Battery which has been 2 years in development. It's a 10s4p / 18650 samsung battery seated in a flexible case. You can also get a travel friendly Sony 4.2AH 152 watt hour battery which is Airline Friendly! (with airline permission you can take 2 on per person in your carry on luggage).
There is a brand new motor controller that now uses Bluetooth communication (rather than wifi).
The R2 remote has been upgraded with larger battery and a powersave feature.
The GTR Motors have now been upgraded with stronger motor shafts, internal heat sensors & air-vents.
Speed / Distance
The GTR AT has a top speed of 36 km/h / 22mph and a range of 30km / 19miles. The travel battery which is sold seperately has exactly the same top speed but a range of 10-7km.
These have been tested on hills with inclines in excess of 37% (but the official line is 30%)

A brand new App is coming out called 'Explore by Evolve' and features loads of cool options like the ability to track your rides, a worldwide leader board and the ability to dial in your own power curve to the way you like to ride. The App is scheduled to launch in June.
WARNING: The Evolve GTR Series is a high performance electric skateboard. It is strongly advised that children under 14 years, or new to electric skateboarding, operate the boards under supervision with full safety gear including a helmet. FAST and GTR modes offers performance capabilities not suitable for beginners AND can allow the rider to get in situations that may increase risk in operation. ie: GTR mode will allow the board to climb extremely steep hills that will be dangerous to ride back down, even when using the brake. While programming is in place to limit climbing of dangerous inclines, the rider must understand the power this board can offer must be respected for safe use.

We offer FREE Standard delivery on all orders (£50 and over), and then the option to upgrade to Express Delivery (1-2 Days) if required.
For shipping we are currently using Parcelforce & Royal Mail and they have both changed their delivery procedure in relation to signing for and receiving items in the UK (please see below)
"In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Our drivers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item, then put 'XP1' in the signature field, and we will record the geolocation of the delivery. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
If recipients are unable to come to the door or are self-isolating, we will post a customer contact card in the normal way, advising of other ways the recipient can arrange to get their item. For example, by getting a friend or family member (who is not resident with someone who is self-isolating) to collect the parcel from their local Parcelforce depot or Post Office branch, as specified on the card. They will need to bring along the card we left and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to. Examples of suitable ID are specified on the card."
All items ordered online with us here at The Snowboard Shop are dispatched within 24 hours (except for orders placed on a Saturday which will be dispatched on the Monday).

We do charge slightly more for deliveries including a Snowboard due to the costs of shipping parcels of this size.
For all purchases totalling over £50 standard delivery is FREE and you'll be given the option to upgrade to Express or Next Day if you'd rather when you checkout.
Items will be sent via the Royal Mail on a 'Signed For' service (Standard Delivery). Express / Next Day deliveries will be sent through Parcelforce. Once the item(s) have been dispatched you will receive a tracking number through Royal Mail or Parcelforce.
We can still ship to you if you UK Non-Mainland (i.e. Northern Ireland). Please call us or email us if the shipping costs are not clear. (Northern Ireland has it's own shipping drop-down when you check out).
International / European Shipping
If you are not based in the UK but have seen an item(s) on our website that you'd like to purchase then simply add them to your cart and select your Country when you checkout. We use a combination of UPS and Parcelforce for International shipping. [There are some Countries that we don't currently ship too]
Please request a returns number BEFORE you return your item by either logging into your account online and requesting under "My Order History" or e-mail email@example.com within 14 days of receiving your purchase. We are UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNED ITEMS WITHOUT A RETURNS NUMBER.
We expect you to be totally happy with your purchases from The Snowboard Shop. If You buy an item and it is damaged, doesn't fit or if you have simply changed your mind then please email us within 14 days of receiving your purchase and we will exchange, issue a credit or refund you (please state your preference when you email for a returns number). All returned items must be returned in the original packaging with labelling and tags attached. Please also include your original receipt.
Returned items that are faulty are entitled to a full reimbursement including postage costs. Items that are returned because they do not fit or are no longer wanted are not entitled to a postage refund.
Items Purchased in-store may be returned within 7 days with a valid receipt for a credit note at the Managers discretion.
