Featuring the latest latest innovations, the Method is equipped with MIPS™ and zonal Koroyd®, which provides enhanced energy absorption in case of a crash. The helmet's sleek design features eight fixed vents for optimal airflow and utilizes our trusted AirEvac™ technology to keep your goggles fog-free.
 
Koroyd was originally designed as an energy absorber in the aerospace industry, cylindrical structures were discovered to be one of nature's most resilient forms. They possess the ability to provide exceptional impact absorption relative to their size. Leveraging this insight, Koroyd® harnesses the power of cylinders to create a revolutionary structure that exhibits unique behavior compared to traditional protective materials. Unlike conventional materials that function like springs, storing and releasing energy, Koroyd® acts as a genuine energy absorber. It effectively converts kinetic energy by collapsing or crumpling upon impact. This distinctive characteristic results in superior absorption of impact energy, providing enhanced protection.
 
Featuring the MIPS® Brain Protection System (BPS), an innovative design incorporates a Low Friction Layer between the shell and the liner. This layer serves as a separator, allowing the helmet to slide relative to the head during angled impacts. The MIPS® BPS is specifically engineered to enhance protection by addressing rotational motion. During an angled impact, both rotational energy (angular velocity) and rotational forces (resulting from angular acceleration) come into play. These factors have the potential to impact the brain and increase the risk of both minor and severe brain injuries. However, the MIPS® BPS has undergone scientific validation, proving its effectiveness in reducing rotational motion within a helmet. By absorbing and redirecting rotational energies and forces transmitted to the brain, the MIPS® BPS provides an added layer of defense, significantly reducing the potential for injury.

IMPORTANT: Where possible always try on the Snowboard Helmet before purchase as Sizing Charts are only a guideline.

 

UK Orders:

All items ordered online with us here at The Snowboard Shop are dispatched within 24 hours (except for orders placed on a Saturday which will be dispatched on the Monday).

Delivery options are as follows to the UK Mainland:

We use Royal Mail or a Courier (Parcelforce / APC) depending on which delivery option you choose:

  • Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days) - FREE (over £75.00)
  • Express Delivery (1-2 Working Days) - £5.95

We do charge slightly more for deliveries including a Snowboard, SUP or Electric Skateboard due to the costs of shipping parcels of this size.

  • Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days) - FREE
  • Express Delivery (1-2 Working Days) - £7.95

For all purchases totalling over £75.00 standard UK Mainland delivery is FREE and you'll be given the option to upgrade to Express if you'd rather when you checkout.

Items will be sent via the Royal Mail on a 'Signed For' service (Standard Delivery). Express deliveries will be sent with APC, Parcelforce or UPS. Once the item(s) have been dispatched you will receive a tracking number through Royal Mail, Parcelforce or UPS.

We offer FREE Standard UK Mainland delivery on all orders (£75.00 and over), and then the option to upgrade to Express Delivery (1-2 Days) if required.

UK Non-Mainland

We can still ship to you if you UK Non-Mainland (i.e. Northern Ireland / Isle of Wight etc). Please call us or email us if the shipping costs are not clear. (Northern Ireland and UK Highlands & Islands have their own shipping drop-down when you check out). 

If you are in Scotland and unsure if your postcode comes under Highlands & Islands, please take a look at the following postcodes which are all classed as Highlands & Islands: AB31, AB33-38, AB44-45, AB52-56 / FK17-21 / HS1-9 / IV1-56, IV99 / KA27-28 / KW1-17 / PA20-88 / PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50 / ZE1-3

International Orders

We have currently turned off shipping orders to outside of the UK, due to the infuriating Paperwork, VAT and Duties payable since Brexit! If you are not based in the UK but have seen an item(s) on our website that you'd like to purchase then please get in contact with us and will try arrange a shipment over to you.

Brexit - Shipments from the UK to EU countries will now attract VAT charges and potentially duties & customs fees payable upon entering the EU. These fees are payable by the recipient.

We use a combination of UPS and Parcelforce for International shipping. 

Please Note: We are unable to ship any items to a 'Freight Forwarding' company.

Returns

Please request a returns number BEFORE you return your item by either logging into your account online and requesting under "My Order History" or e-mail info@thesnowboardshop.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your purchase. We are UNABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNED ITEMS WITHOUT A RETURNS NUMBER.

We expect you to be totally happy with your purchases from The Snowboard Shop. If you buy an item and it is damaged, doesn't fit or if you have simply changed your mind then please email us within 14 days of receiving your purchase and we will exchange, issue a credit or refund you (please state your preference when you email for a returns number). All returned items must be returned in the original packaging with labelling and tags attached. Please also include your original receipt.

Returned items that are faulty are entitled to a full reimbursement including postage costs. Items that are returned because they do not fit or are no longer wanted are not entitled to a postage refund.

Items Purchased in-store may be returned within 7 days with a valid receipt at the Managers discretion.
