The Bataleon Boss is a seriously good true twin centered snowboard. It’s kinda like the beefier big brother to the iconic Evil Twin that is loaded with crossed carbon stringers under the bindings to both increase pop, aid torsional stability and strengthen under the bindings for heavier landings. Torsionally more responsive than the Evil Twin, the Boss has Bataleon’s hard & fast sintered base and a full wood core created from the perfect blend of Swiss Paulownia and Polar woods which both reduces the weight of the board and gives the Boss a great flex pattern.
The Boss now has an upgraded core feature called 'Central Super Tube' (or C.S.T) which is one centrally placed hollow carbon rod milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop without stiffening the board torsionally so it retains the same mid flex as last season but now is a little lighter and has even more pop and snap!
Even though it is designed for park use, it's equally at home across the whole mountain. It's a true centered twin and so rides the same backwards as it does forwards - giving you more time to concentrate on your next trick.
New for 2021, the Bataleon Boss has an upgraded core which is lighter than ever before. It also features a new tech which Bataleon call 'AirRide' which are strips of a special dampening material to provide a smoother ride with less chatter.
If you want even more in depth information then take a look at our Bataleon Snowboards Tech Guide.
The Bataleon Boss snowboard has a standard binding insert pattern and is compatible with the majority of Snowboard bindings (non Burton EST Bindings).

We offer FREE Standard delivery on all orders (£50 and over), and then the option to upgrade to Express Delivery (1-2 Days) if required.
For shipping we are currently using Parcelforce & Royal Mail and they have both changed their delivery procedure in relation to signing for and receiving items in the UK (please see below)
"In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Our drivers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item, then put 'XP1' in the signature field, and we will record the geolocation of the delivery. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
If recipients are unable to come to the door or are self-isolating, we will post a customer contact card in the normal way, advising of other ways the recipient can arrange to get their item. For example, by getting a friend or family member (who is not resident with someone who is self-isolating) to collect the parcel from their local Parcelforce depot or Post Office branch, as specified on the card. They will need to bring along the card we left and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to. Examples of suitable ID are specified on the card."
All items ordered online with us here at The Snowboard Shop are dispatched within 24 hours (except for orders placed on a Saturday which will be dispatched on the Monday).
